There’s more to the perfect Halloween color scheme than just orange and black! This year, throw some teal into the mix, for a night that’s as inclusive as it is exciting.
The official color of food allergies, the blue-green shade is associated with the Teal Pumpkin Project, a campaign led by nonprofit FARE. It lets kids living with food allergies know that you have safe, non-food treats available for all.
From teal decorations to covetable toys, Allergic Living’s Halloween Food-Free Treats & Decor Guide is brimming with inspiration to get you Teal Pumpkin Project ready.
A night for shrieks of laughter and delightful frights, Halloween is also about letting kids be kids. This year, fly a teal flag and load up on non-food goodies and handouts. Create a safe space for children with food allergies, and give every trick-or-treater a night to remember.
