Allergy Alert: USDA Announces Chef Boyardee Bowls Allergy Recall

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced that Conagra Brands is recalling 2,871 pounds of Chef Boyardee products due to mislabeling that relates to 2 top allergens.

Recalled product

Milk and Wheat Allergy Warning: The Chef Boyardee products are labeled as “Rice with Chicken and Vegetables,” but in fact contain beef ravioli – which may contain milk and wheat. Those top allergens are not declared on the labels.

The 7.5 oz microwavable bowls show a package code of 210090151050045L.

On the bottom of each bowl is a “Best By” date of Jul082020 and an establishment number “EST 794”. The products were shipped to retailers in New York, Florida and Kentucky.
