The Kansas City-based non-profit works to improve health and end hunger among families who require allergy-friendly and gluten-free foods, but struggle to afford them. FOOD EQUALITY INITIATIVE FEI WORKS TO: • Improve access to allergy-safe foods, both supplying food and increasing nutritious choices. • Educate its clients on allergy man- agement, such as how to read labels with food allergies, and how to negotiate school accommodations.
